Townsville Area Delivery Service

Cate's Chemist have a delivery service to the Townsville Area.

Ask about FREE DELIVERY - Dose Administration Aid (Medication Packing), Script Minder, Community Care, CTG and DVA patients may qualify for free delivery on our schedule.

Cate's Chemist use employed drivers, Fastway Couriers and Australia Post. Delivery will be made to the requested address and will require a signature on receipt (please consider delivery to a work address if no one is at home). If a second delivery is required because no one is home, additional charge/s may apply.

The service is offered to "Local" and Townsville Areas. Customers may subscribe to a Scheduled Service or request Next Day Service charged as follows:

Local Area:

• Scheduled Service $3.25/delivery
• Next day Service $5.45/delivery

Other Townsville Areas:

• Scheduled Service $5.45/delivery
• Next day Service $10.95/delivery

The above service charges include GST.

These prices apply up to 25kg parcel. Additional charges may apply over 25kg.

The Local Area includes Hyde Park, Hermit Park, Mundingburra, CBD, Garbutt, West End, Belgian Gardens, Castle Hill and North Ward suburbs. The Townsville Area is the general area north-west to Bushland Beach, south to Kelso, south-east to Wulguru and Stuart; and a weekly service to Charters Towers.

Scheduled Delivery. Subscribing to a scheduled service for your suburb reduces cost. Email or call into store to enquire about scheduled days for your suburb.

Next Day Service. Where an order is received AM, expect delivery AM next day. Where an order is received PM, expect the order PM next day.

Customers will be required to provide personal information and register for Cate's Chemist Customer Care Club. Personal information will only be used for providing health care to the customer and the delivery service. Personal information is not forwarded or sold to other businesses, except where necessary for the provision of the health care good or service the customer has purchased (for example a Medicare number sent to Medicare).

We reserve the right to adjust delivery times. Known limitations are Bushland Beach, Roseneath, Stuart, Wulguru, Kelso, Alice River, Rangewood, Rupertswood and Kalynda Chase may not be able to offer Next Day Service depending on the time/day of your order.

We reserve the right to limit order quantities.

Some orders may require a consultation with a pharmacist or pharmacy staff by phone or in store before they will dispatched. Some medicines may not be able to be delivered due to safety constraints.

If no one is available to sign for the parcel, a note will be left detailing the location where the parcel can be collected. Under some circumstances, it may be possible for another attempt at delivery to made, for another service charge. Repetitive deliveries may be charged at a higher rate.

Where the parcel is being delivered by Fastway or Australia Post, Cate's Chemist will provide contact detail and tracking information where required.

Cate's Chemist reserve the right to deny the delivery service to a person or an address, if behaviours or the delivery address are unacceptable, or delivery is otherwise unreasonable.
